Among the traditional Japanese gardening scissors, Kyo style scissors. Manufactured by Kanetaka in Kyoto, which has a history of over 350 years.
This Wabasami 180mm (7.09 inch) is made for the general public. Of course, professional NIWASHI (Japanese professional gardener) can also be used, but it is more suitable for soft branches, flowers, grass, etc. than hard branches.
The shape is similar to Ohkubo style, and it is a little smaller scissors. These scissors are manufactured with particular attention to the sound of cutting. When the lower part of the handle fits when you cut through, the characteristic sound of hitting an iron rod will reverberate around you. People in the area understand that you are pruning.
